Presbyterian College psychology professor Dr. Brooke Spatta recently guided a group of four students on an enriching journey to Osaka, Japan, where they studied at Kwansei Gakuin University, a key partner institution. This unique opportunity allowed students to immerse themselves in a different cultural and academic environment, enhancing their understanding of psychology from an international perspective.
Throughout their stay, the students engaged in various courses and activities designed to broaden their knowledge of psychological theories and practices in Japan. They participated in lectures, discussions, and hands-on experiences that highlighted the differences and similarities between Eastern and Western psychological approaches.
Additionally, the trip included cultural excursions, enabling students to experience Japan's rich history and traditions firsthand. By interacting with local students and faculty, the Presbyterian College group fostered valuable connections that will benefit their academic and professional futures. This initiative underscores the college's commitment to providing students with global learning experiences that enrich their educational journey.
