Archer's Journey: Insights on Teaching and Psychology

Archer is currently engaged in a rewarding role at the Kroc Center's summer camp, where she works with children aged 11 to 14. Although these campers are older than the grades she aspires to teach, likely third or fourth grade, she finds immense value in her experience at the camp. Archer believes that her interactions with these young individuals will greatly benefit her future teaching career.

Her passion for education is evident as she discusses her aspirations to become a teacher. Archer's dedication to shaping young minds is complemented by her interest in psychology, which she considers an essential part of her teaching philosophy. She recognizes the importance of understanding children's developmental stages and the psychological factors that influence their learning.

By working with older children, Archer is gaining insights into their needs and challenges, which she hopes to translate into effective teaching strategies in her future classroom. Her commitment to education and her desire to make a positive impact on young learners are clear indicators of her promising career ahead.
